After 14 years of dedicated military service to this Great Country, and Four Deployments vital to National Security, our founder turned in his "dog tags" for actual dog tags. From the dogs he watched serve beside him on foreign shores, he gained interest in the world of the K9 and what training and dedication that it took. After separating from the military just a few short months ago, he turned what was once a dream into a reality. Utilizing his military background as well as courses he took in the dog training field, he developed HCC K9 LLC. where he believes Confident Dogs make for Happy Owners!

No matter the Breed, from The LARGEST of Great Danes all the way down to the smallest Pomeranians, HCC K9 will teach you that as long as you establish that bond and relationship with your K9, they will ALWAYS look to you for a lead in the RIGHT DIRECTION!

Pawsitive Re-enforcement

Teaching the owners that all good things come from you. Example... They behave the leash gets longer, sort of like raising children. Here we teach dogs to curb the less desirable behaviors and re-enforce the pawsitive ones leading to more Confident Dogs and Happier Owners!

Hi, I’m Brian and I am the Lead Instructor here at HCC K9. After my 14 year military career, I took to working dogs, for fun as well as service. I have personally owned the following breeds Miniature Pinscher, American Staffordshire Terrier, Three Boxers, Two Belgian Malinios, and currently have two German Shepards, Murphy (4yrs) and Kyle (10 months). I started this company because of my love for dogs and the drive and loyalty they have to please their owners. I believe and teach that not only are dogs great companions, but with proper structure and instruction they can be come valued members of our family pack. Within my pack I have myself, my wife, three young children, Murp. Each one of us playing a vital roll daily in activities and training. Whether your dog is just being introduced into your family, or they have been around for while and a new family member is being brought home to be introduced to them, if done properly both canine and human counterparts will make for a great team like us! Welcome to HCC K9!

Hi everyone, I’m Elizabeth! I graduated from The University Of Rhode Island in December of 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Technology and a Minor in Sociology.

Throughout the years, I worked closely with a K9 trainer who specialized in Police K9s. During that time, I participated in hundreds of hours of training doing bite work, narcotics detection, explosives detection, tracking and obedience, eventually getting my own narcotics detection dog to handle. I was also an intern for the Rhode Island State Police K9 Unit.

Currently, I am a Veterinary Technician and have been for two years. I also works as a groom and stable hand for a horse trainer at a barn in Massachusetts for standardbred race horses. I am a native Rhode Islander and grew up in Cumberland.

I love animals and can’t wait to help you and your pup succeed here at HCC K-9!
